Privacy Policy

Celsus is a PDF reader application developed by Onur Durlanık. This privacy policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Celsus does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The app does not require account registration, login, or any personal data to function.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created and stored only on your device and is never sent to any server:

• PDF files you add to the library
• Reading highlights, notes, and annotations
• Reading history and statistics (pages read, time spent)
• Drawings and excerpts saved from pages
• OCR text extracted from PDF pages
• App settings and theme preferences

3. Permissions Used

• Camera: Used only when you choose to take a photo to attach to a note. Photos are saved locally and are never uploaded.
• Storage / Media access: Used to read PDF files you select and to save excerpts and exports to your device.
• Internet: Used solely for displaying ads via Google AdMob (see Section 4). No personal data from the app is transmitted.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Celsus displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information and use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. This data collection is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

5. On-Device Text Recognition (OCR)

Celsus uses Google ML Kit for optical character recognition. All OCR processing is performed entirely on your device. No images or text are sent to external servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Celsus is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Celsus, Onur Durlanık tarafından geliştirilmiş bir PDF okuyucu uygulamasıdır. Bu gizlilik politikası, uygulamanın hangi bilgilere eriştiğini ve bu bilgilerin nasıl kullanıldığını açıklamaktadır.

1. Toplamadığımız Bilgiler

Celsus, kişisel olarak tanımlanabilir hiçbir bilgi toplamaz, saklamaz veya iletmez. Uygulama, çalışmak için hesap kaydı, giriş veya herhangi bir kişisel veri gerektirmez.

2. Cihazınızda Yerel Olarak Saklanan Veriler

Aşağıdaki veriler yalnızca cihazınızda oluşturulur ve saklanır; hiçbir sunucuya gönderilmez:

• Kütüphaneye eklediğiniz PDF dosyaları
• Oluşturduğunuz vurgular, notlar ve açıklamalar
• Okuma geçmişi ve istatistikler (okunan sayfalar, harcanan süre)
• Sayfalardan kaydedilen çizimler ve pasajlar
• PDF sayfalarından çıkarılan OCR metinleri
• Uygulama ayarları ve tema tercihleri

3. Kullanılan İzinler

• Kamera: Yalnızca bir nota fotoğraf eklemek istediğinizde kullanılır. Fotoğraflar yerel olarak kaydedilir, hiçbir zaman yüklenmez.
• Depolama / Medya erişimi: Seçtiğiniz PDF dosyalarını okumak ve pasajları/dışa aktarımları cihazınıza kaydetmek için kullanılır.
• İnternet: Yalnızca Google AdMob aracılığıyla reklam göstermek için kullanılır (bkz. Bölüm 4). Uygulamadan hiçbir kişisel veri iletilmez.

4. Reklamlar (Google AdMob)

Celsus, Google AdMob tarafından sağlanan banner reklamlar göstermektedir. Google, ilgili reklamlar sunmak için cihaz bilgilerini toplayabilir ve çerezler veya benzer teknolojiler kullanabilir. Bu veri toplama işlemi Google'ın kendi gizlilik politikasına tabidir:

Kişiselleştirilmiş reklamlardan çıkmak için cihazınızın reklam ayarlarını kullanabilirsiniz: Ayarlar → Google → Reklamlar → Reklam kişiselleştirmesinden çık.

5. Cihaz Üzerinde Metin Tanıma (OCR)

Celsus, optik karakter tanıma için Google ML Kit kullanmaktadır. Tüm OCR işlemleri tamamen cihazınızda gerçekleştirilir. Harici sunuculara herhangi bir görüntü veya metin gönderilmez.

6. Çocukların Gizliliği

Celsus, 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve çocuklardan bilerek herhangi bir bilgi toplamaz.

7. Bu Politikadaki Değişiklikler

Gizlilik politikası güncellenirse yeni sürüm bu URL'de yayınlanacaktır. Değişikliklerden sonra uygulamayı kullanmaya devam etmek, güncellenmiş politikanın kabul edildiği anlamına gelir.
